The popular Kawai ES-110 is in demand thanks to its realistic piano sounds and feel, and portability. Now meet the successor that improves on it: the new Kawai ES 120.

The Kawai ES120 is a lightweight and compact digital piano that offers a wide range of features and specs to meet the needs of musicians of all levels: 88 weighted keys, 192 note maximum polyphony, 6 types of reverb, and 100 drum rhythms to choose from. It also offers high- quality 25-voice sounds, including a variety of piano sounds, electric pianos, organs, and strings, thanks to its Harmonic Imaging Sound Technology. The technology uses advanced sampling techniques to capture the unique tonal character of each instrument, resulting in a rich and realistic sound.

It even captures the magnificent tone of the flagship Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano.  This peerless instrument is hand-built by Master Piano Artisans at the Shigeru Kawai Piano Research Laboratory in Ryuyo, Japan, and widely regarded as one of the finest instruments in its class. In addition, the ES120 also features the distinctive sound of Kawai’s highly acclaimed EX concert grand piano, which has been selected by professional pianists in such prestigious events as the Chopin, Tchaikovsky, and Rubinstein international piano competitions, among others.

The ES 120’s most notable feature is the Responsive Hammer Compact (RHC) keyboard action, which simulates the feel of an acoustic piano with its realistic touch and sensitivity. The weighted key mechanism reproduces the movement of hammers inside an acoustic piano, giving players an authentic playing experience.

The ES120's connectivity options include USB ports and MIDI compatibility, making it easy to integrate with computers and other devices. It also features integrated Bluetooth® MIDI and Audio technologies that allow the instrument to communicate with supported smart devices wirelessly.

Once paired with a phone, tablet, or laptop, ES120 owners can enjoy a wide variety of exciting music-related apps that enhance their learning and playing experience, or stream audio from songs and videos directly through the instrument’s impressive speaker system without the need to connect additional cables. The built-in recorder and metronome functions are also useful features for practicing and recording.
